The 17th Annual Alyeska Climbathon

Registration opens on Saturday, July 13th at noon – don’t wait long or you may get left behind!

Challenge your vertical capacity while you climb for a cause!  Run or hike the North Face Trail with friends and family, while raising money to help end women’s cancers.

The Alyeska Climbathon is a 10-hour multi-lap, all day event where  climbers run/speed hike/walk up the approximately 2.2 mile North Face Trail (2,000 vertical feet) then descend on the Alyeska Resort Tram to complete a lap. The current vertical record of 26,325 feet and 28.6 miles of running in 13 laps is the equivalent of climbing Annapurna in a day!

Each year the Alyeska Climbathon raises money towards the critical mission of fighting (and raising awareness of) women’s GYN cancers. The primary recipients of your donations are Let Every Woman Know – Alaska (LEWK) and the Girdwood Health Clinic. Learn more about The Cause.
